When you’re not at anime conventions or gatherings, you can find great sources of inspiration from online cosplay sites and blogs. Cosplay social networks operate much like regular ones such as Facebook and Instagram, where registered users can create profiles and post their latest cosplay works. Cosplay blogs are constantly updated with cool cosplays and upcoming events.
Social networks
Cosplay.com
Cosplay.com claims to be “The World’s Largest Cosplay Community”, and has pages for users to create profiles, record their ongoing cosplay projects, post on forums, and even shop in an online wig store. For beginner cosplayers, its forums are the most valuable aspect, where users can find over 4.5 million posts on topics ranging from sewing craft to the New York Anime festival.
WorldCosplay

WorldCosplay is great for the cosplayer who loves to interact socially online, with invitations for users to rate and follow other users, share their favorite photos via Facebook, Twitter, and Weibo, and check the site rankings. Like Facebook, registered users can favorite, comment, and post their own photos.
CURE Cosplay
CURE Cosplay is a popular Japanese cosplay site and is partners with WorldCosplay. The site has an English version, but most user comments and descriptions are in Japanese. However, anyone can make an account and view, comment, and upload pictures. There are currently almost 3 million cosplay entries in the anime cosplay category.
