I was able to include most of the components I had envisioned for my original website, but there are definitely things that I would like to add in the future. Here's a rundown of my reflection on my website, and using Weebly to create my site:
Evaluation of website
Strengths:
- I tried organizing it in a logical manner to make finding information easier
- I added lots of pictures to provide visual examples of what cosplay is
- I included many different areas that the audience might be interested in, from how-to's to convention reports
- I tried organizing content in as web-friendly a way as possible, with a list of section titles at the top of each page and including bulleted points and lists
- I kept design, writing style, and other aspects as consistent as I could across the site
Weaknesses/Future steps:
- The font larger than I wanted, but the next smallest font size was too small. Also, the layout is less compact than purely informational websites such as Wikipedia; but I decided to sacrifice compactness for visual appeal
- I didn't include as many tutorials as I planned. I realized that many other sites such as CosplayTutorial already do a great job of providing links to tutorials. So I went for a more holistic explanation of the cosplay process to a complete beginner, rather that going in depth on a super-specific example
- I did not have time to create a logo or merchandise store for CosPlayGround, but I hope to do that in the future
- Interview more cosplayers and add to the interview section
Evaluation of Weebly
I would describe Weebly as a good tool for beginner website creators looking for something simple and fast without needing a lot of special functionality. I enjoyed using Weebly to make this site, but there were a few roadblocks I ran into along the way that affected the ease of editing/revising webpages. In hindsight, I think Weebly is better than Google sites, but Wix would have been a more powerful website creator.

Strengths:
- Free
- Pre-made layouts
- Useful features include: contact form, OK button, custom HTML, upload files, photo gallery, slideshow, making multiple columns
- Website creating tool easy to use
Weaknesses:
- Written content defaults to a certain font and color, so I had to manually change it every time I added something
- Copying and pasting text from another source causes a formatting issue where paragraph breaks are doubled, so I had to manually go back and remove the extra breaks
- Cannot insert pictures in the middle of a paragraph
- Cannot save webpage if you accidentally or purposely delete it
- Limited choices for font size, no choices for font used
- Cannot include a chart or table
- Useful features that you have to pay for: search box, upload videos instead of embedding from Youtube, upload audio files
- Linking to a page within the website defaults to opening in the same window
